MISSOURI MOUNTAIN COLORADO 14ER 1.75″ MOUNTAIN SUMMIT COIN

Since the mountain was the shortest of the trio mountains (Missouri, Belford and Oxford) located in the Sawatch Range, it was not named until 1956. The mountain was named by miners from Missouri, after their home state, which stems from the indigenous word “mihsoori,” meaning canoe.
