PIKES PEAK COLORADO 14ER 1.75″ MOUNTAIN SUMMIT COIN

This grand peak was named after Lieutenant Zebulon Montgomery Pike Jr. and is located in Colorado Springs. Pike first sighted the mountain in November of 1806 and named it “Grand Peak.” After attempting to climb it, making it as far as Mount Rosa (8 miles southeast), unfortunately, he had to turn back due to no food for 2 days and climbing in waist deep snow.
